  • Regardless of the size of the construction area, the PVC floor should be placed at the construction site for more than 24 hours. Make the temperature of the plastic floor consistent with the indoor temperature to reduce the material deformation caused by temperature difference.
  • Use a professional edge trimmer to cut the rough edges under heavy pressure at both ends of the PVC floor. The width of cutting on both sides shall not be less than 1 cm.
  • When laying PVC floor, overlapping cutting shall be adopted at all material interfaces. Generally, the width of overlap shall not be less than 3 cm.

  • According to different floors, corresponding special glue and glue scraper shall be adopted.

  • When laying the PVC floor, roll up one end of the floor first, clean the back of the PVC floor and the floor, and then scrape the special glue on the floor. Wipe the glue evenly and not too thick.

  • The use effect of different adhesives is completely different. For details, please refer to the product manual to select special glue.

  • After the PVC floor is pasted, first push the surface of the PVC floor with a soft wood block to make it flat and press out the air.

  • Then use a 50-70kg pressing wheel or special cork block to repeatedly push and press the surface of the PVC floor, and timely repair the PVC floor joints and warps.

  • After rolling, wipe off the excess glue on the PVC floor surface. After 24 hours, slot and weld.

  • The U-shaped tool must be used for slotting to ensure that the special welding rod can be tightly combined with the floor (electric or manual slotting tools can be used).

  • The grooving of PVC floor after laying shall be carried out after 24 hours. Use a special groover (machine) to slot at the joint of PVC floor. In order to weld firmly, the depth of groove shall be 2/3 of the thickness of PVC floor.

  • Before welding, dust and debris in the groove shall be thoroughly removed.

  • Special manual welding gun or automatic welding equipment shall be used for welding.

  • The temperature of welding gun shall be between 350 ℃ and 400 ℃. The welding rod shall be evenly squeezed into the grooved PVC floor at a proper welding speed (the melting of the welding rod shall be guaranteed).

  • When the welding rod is half cooled, use a special crescent blade and gasket to cut 2/3 of the surface protruding from the PVC floor. After the welding rod is completely cooled, completely remove the welding rod protruding from the PVC floor to ensure that the surface of the plastic floor is completely flat.

  • It must be based on the temperature of the ground material and special welding wire used.

  • The temperature and speed of hot welding must be adjusted according to the actual situation. Before hands-on operation, it is better to find some scraps to do some exercises and pay attention to the reaction of the electrode, because the welding temperature, speed and strength of use have a direct impact on the effect of hot welding.

  • The cleaning of plastic floor shall be carried out after completion or before use. However, it must be 48 hours after the PVC floor is laid.
